Subflow Privacy Policy
Subflow is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our subscription tracking app on iOS.
1. Data We Collect
Subscription Data (Stored Locally)
The following is stored on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account:
- Subscription details — name, price, currency, billing cycle, start date, category, notes, custom icons
- Status info — cancellation status, trial status, notification preferences
- Billing history — payment dates and events
This data is not transmitted to our servers.

- Notification settings
- Appearance (theme)
- Security (biometric lock, iCloud sync)
2. How Your Data Is Used
- Functionality — display subscriptions, calculate costs, show reminders, support export/import
- iCloud Sync — if enabled, your data syncs across devices via your iCloud account under Apple's Privacy Policy
- Notifications — bill reminders and renewal alerts you configure
3. Third-Party Services
ExchangeRate-API
Used to fetch currency conversion rates. Only the base currency code (e.g. "USD") is sent — no personal or subscription data. See their Privacy Policy.
Apple Services
- StoreKit — in-app purchases handled by Apple
- Local Notifications — bill reminders via iOS; no data sent to third parties
- Biometric Auth — Face ID / Touch ID used on-device only
4. Data Sharing
We do not:
- Sell your data
- Share data with advertisers or data brokers
- Transmit subscription data to our servers
5. Retention & Deletion
- On device — data remains until you delete it or uninstall the app
- iCloud — stored per Apple's policies if sync is enabled
- Deletion — delete individual subscriptions or uninstall to remove all local data
6. Security
Data is stored locally with SwiftData and optionally in your iCloud container. Biometric lock uses Apple's Secure Enclave — we never store or process biometric data or passwords.
7. Children's Privacy
Subflow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal data.
8. Your Rights
- Access — export your data in-app
- Correct — edit subscriptions directly
- Delete — remove subscriptions or uninstall
- Portability — CSV or PDF export
9. Policy Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
